​Search "Powered Breadboard" on Amazon.  Provides breadboard, push buttons, wires, capacitors, transistors, LEDs, etc.

$11: 1/4 Watt Resistors

​The resistors in the breadboard kit are almost unreadable.  Get a bunch of tan 1/4W resistors.

DC Power Supply ($14)

Student Provided
Free if you can find one in the junk drawer at home.  Any voltage from 6V to 16V, capable of 200mA or more works with the powered breadboard.  You can also use a 9V battery if you can't find one.
